- Filter out dust and scratches.
- Repair major crease along the middle.
- Use quick layer brush to change color on picture.
- I thought that I could of picked better colors because I believe that my picture looks very fake.

family photo (after and before)
- Family retouch project
- Attempting to restore an old family photo without tape marks, creases. or dust and scratches.
- An after and before photo of a family.
- Adobe Photo was used in this project.
- To make this project:
- Increase canvas width and make copy of photo on to it.
- Use cloning tool to remove tape on top and bottom of page.
- Make a snapshot of after photo.
- Filter out all dust and scratches.
- Repair all creases on photo.
- Finally, sharpen photo using unsharpened mask.
- What did not work out in this project was that don't like the job I did repairing the creases on the photo.

Flawless face (before and after)
- This is the flawless face project.
- Test to show how to retouch a girl's face to make look absolutely flawless.
- This is a before and after photo of a girl retouched.
- Adobe photoshop was used to make this photo.
- To make this picture:
- Select and save the white background into a new selection.
- Create new layer and name it HEAL.
- Use brush to clean face and flatten layers.
- Duplicate layer and rename as BLUR.
- Filter blur and adjust to Gaussian
- Set opacity on face and customize eyes and lips to your liking.
- I thought that I had done everything right because this project was according to what I thought was perfect.

marbled paper book
- Marbled paper book
- Project of constructing paper book with marbled sheet cover
- No programs used
- To make this:
- Make marble paper by painting on regular sheet of paper.
- Wait till dry before putting it together.
- Measure and cut paper to fit appropriate size.
- Glue marbled paper to regular paper to fit like book.
- Screw holes into book to finish putting it together.
- I liked the design I made on the cover but I thought that I could of done a better job putting it together
zoo post card
- This is the zoo post card project
- A test of understanding how to resize photos and change resolution
- This is a post to promote the L.A zoo.
- Adobe photoshop was used in the project.
- To make this picture:
- Create the picture.
- Resize all photos and resolution into specific areas on the page.
- Copy on text to page.
- I liked the colors that I used but I think that I could of done better with the border that I made.

monster indesign
- This is called the monster indesign project.
- This is a ad promoting a new exhibit opening at a museum.
- The picture was a test to show how to place in certain pictures and and text boxes o resemble a real ad.
- Adobe photoshop was the program used in this ad.
- To make this picture:
- Load up the file titled monster indesign.
- Place photo of monster into boxes.
- Design text boxes to be creative.
- I thought that I did a perfect job on this project because we had to follow a model.
magazine cover
- This project is called the magazine project.
- It is a cover for a art magazine with our own drawing as the cover.
- Adobe illustrator was the only program used on this project.
- To make this cover:
- Draw a picture of a person.
- Scan the image onto the computer.
- Redraw image using pen tool on different layers that you should make for each object.
- Color in objects to your liking.
- And add title name and three teasers to cover.
- This was probably my favorite project because I was able to use a lot of my creativity into it. but i wish i did a better job on my person's vest.
happy birthday card
- This project is called the birthday card project.
- This is a birthday card to teach us how to use images from the internet and make the card in quick time.
- Adobe photoshop was used on this project.
- To make this card:
- Set the canvas size to your liking.
- Search for an image on the internet and save to photoshop.
- Set designs for front and back of card and add text.
- Finally, print out card.
- I liked the design that I had used but I wished that I had been a little more creative on it because it looks very plain to me.

- Creating picture of ad referring to things that relate to culture for Case Western university.

- To make this picture:
- Create thumbnails and rough.
- Find at least nine pictures on web and bring to photoshop.
- Set pictures to a resolution at least 300.
- Fit pictures into page in any style.
- Add text from university
- I think overall that I did no do anything wrong with this project.
Nextco
This is a project called the Nextco project. The is a picture that was made using other images and increasing the canvas size. The program used for this was Adobe photoshop. To make this picture, first increase the canvas height on the background picture. Then place the images of the plane and the phone on te picture. After that, using the quick layer tool, brush out corners around images. Finally add the type in any corner. I thought that this was fairly easily but I would of been able to do a better job in the plane.

Type specication
This project is called the type specification project. This was a test to see if we understood the differences in certainways of type such as font size, leading and kerning. It is a sheet of paper containing sentences with type information on it. Adobe indesign was used in this project. Steps that were used to make this was to follow the formatting of each sentence. I thought that this project was done perfectly without any mistakes.
Notepad
This project is called the notepad project. It is a notepad made with room for writing as well as the creator's information on it. This copy in particular contains 50 sheets. Adobe indesign was used to create this note pad. To make this note pad, first design the notepad. Then print copies of about 50. After that place glue on top corner and let it dry. Repeat process two more times and you are finished. I liked how easy it was to make a simple realistic notepad, but I wish I had put a little more work into it.
Soccer
This project is called the using symbols project. It is a magazine cover that is centered around the recent end to the 2010 world cup with Spain as the winners. This cover also had to somehow be related to space. The software used in this project was illustrator. To make this cover, first you need to design the background in one layer. Then the optional layers on illustrator to your liking. Add text boxes for the words and print out. I thought that on this project, I had done well with the effect of making the sun shine on the earth-resembling soccer ball but I was dissatisfied though with the way I had used the text boxes.
Black Square Project
This is my first project in my graphic communications class called the black square project. It is a book with illustrations of six words. They are both defined by definitions and illustrations using four black squares. The softwares that were used in this book are adobe illustrator and indesign. To make this book, you first make you designs on illustrator, then set them
into pages on indesign, print, cut, and stitch. I liked the designs that I made into this book but I wished that I had done a better job putting the sheets together.
